Welcome to St Peter and St Paul Aston Rowant, which has stood at the heart of this community for over 800 years.
If you have not had the opportunity to do so before, attend a service and please do stay on for refreshments so that we can say hello. We have some books and toys for children, which you are welcome to use, just ask if you don’t know where to find them.
You should find plenty of information in the porch, which will give you an idea of what’s going on in the Parish.
The regular services at this church are at 10:am on Sundays:
On 1st Sundays there is a Non – Eucharistic family orientated service. This service lasts approx. 40 minutes and includes songs and hymns, readings, a short address, and prayers. This service is easily accessible for very small children.
On 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays there is usually a service of Holy Communion.
On 5th Sundays there is a united parish service.
Our communion services are open to all, and children are very welcome to attend, to get involved if they can, and to receive a blessing if they are not yet communicant members of the church.
There are many opportunities to be involved in the life of the church; in preparing the church for worship, welcoming, singing or other musical accompaniment, reading, leading prayer and taking offerings on behalf of the people to the alter, making refreshments, or working in the churchyard. Please let one of the ministers or church wardens know if you would like to get involved in any away.
Alternatively you are very welcome to ‘be’, coming and going as you wish. You should find the church open daily in daylight hours.
