Came here for a coffee and cake to go. Really lovely atmosphere and the young lad on the counter was super polite and professional. Would highly recommend especially if you are gluten free.

Very new and clean room. Excellent breakfast. No reception after 15:00 but easy check in and a very warm reception at breakfast. Highly recommended.

Disappointing, given a room without en suite despite website saying they all had en suite. Room recently refurbished with stone smell of wood polish or other treatment. Room also noisy, with ear plugs supplied, as window opened to the road. Had there been anyone at the property, we would have asked to change rooms, but they operate self check in after 3pm so nobody there. Would not recommend, for price would expect more. Disappointing

I stayed here for one night while cycling the Chiltern Way. I found it last minute at 9pm when I was really stuck for a place to stay. It was fabulous - very comfy bed, lovely room, secure storage for my bike and very friendly attentive staff. The breakfast was fantastic - very healthy and very filling for my onwards cycling :)

My bridal party and I stayed at the Cherry Tree the night before and the night after my wedding and were treated so wonderfully! All the rooms are amazing each with a different theme and are stunning! I had air conditioning in mine which was amazing to keep us cool whilst having our makeup and hair done in one of the larger rooms.
Very very comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms with mood-lighting in mine too which made for a luxurious shower (the Gold room).
Each room had facilities for coffee and tea and have a mini fridge which we used for our bucks-fizz!
Delicious hot or cold breakfast with a range of options and delicious coffee!
Reasonable times for check-in and check-out with the option of remote check-ins.
Can't recommend enough for a luxurious stay!

Loved this Bed and Breakfast. Was in town to visit a friend and picked this for convience of the location. But surprisingly got a lot more. The owners have done an incredible job of renovating this old pub. The interior design of the hotel including the rooms bathrooms and the cafe rival any high end luxury hotel that you may find in London. The owner is super friendly and accommodating. Also don’t miss out on their breakfast. Great options including and incredible avocado toast and eggs. Plenty of scones, croissants etc to choose from as well. Call them and book direct. You will not be dissapointed.

Can’t reference the B&B but when walking the Ridgeway - took a 1.5mile round detour only to find the Cafe is now closed on Tuesday - despite the website saying open. Really frustrating- spoke to someone who worked there and they simply shrugged their shoulders. Please update your website - so simple.

Beautiful quiet yet well situated location. Outstanding rooms, beautifully decorated, clean and modern. Super choice at breakfast, very nice food and plenty of it. Wonderful, friendly staff. I would definitely recommend staying here. Also, has dog friendly rooms.
Thank you so much to the owner for making us feel so welcome and for being so accommodating.

We stayed in room 9 which was beautifully appointed, spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was equally lovely and situated in the delightful cafe area. The staff, led by the owner Gosha, were all truly welcoming and very keen to make our overall experience as relaxing and positive as possible; they succeeded! Our room was next to the road, so there was some road noise in the morning, but this was only a slight negative in our overwhelmingly positive stay. We thoroughly recommend the charming Cherry Tree.

Highly recommended. I had to quickly book a room with 0 notice for 4 days, and the lady that runs the place was very accommodating and lovely.
Apart from stellar customer service, the breakfast food was lovely. I had pancakes and crispy bacon so far and it was delicious. While waiting for the warm food there were plenty of "help yourself" food options.
The location, while a bit more difficult to navigate without a car, is beautiful. It's rural England, so you have really pretty fields, and forests to go through. If you bring some nice walking boots you can almost certainly have some beautiful hikes around here!
And last but not least the whole environment has a feeling of coziness and an aura of self care. From the nice bath robes you get provided to the lovely looking beddings and cute little soap disc.
Its worth noting that this place doesn't feel like the "perfect" more corporate kind of hotel. It feels nice and cozy and human. If that's what you are looking for!
All in all I recommend this place, especially if you come early for breakfast and stay around a bit to chat with the lovely lady who runs things, and I recommend you bring some hiking boots for after!
